Longitudinal transect of the Outer Harbour

Navigation channel

• Limitations imposed by the Toronto Port Authority and by retrieval resulted in:
• Estimation of Toronto water column temperature from two separate thermistor chains
• Records of benthic temperatures along the longitudinal transect of Toronto Harbour (short thermistor chains no water column data on the axis)
• Placement of ADCPs: off the centre axis of the Outer harbour and channels, not to impede traffic
